Event Challenge: Last minute guest list changes

N Street Village gala is an important event for the client and this year, due to circumstances beyond our control, there were many last minute guest list changes and seating adjustments to be made. We aimed to provide a seamless guest experience from the moment of check-in and continuing this throughout the entire evening. With our fantastic vendor team, we were able to adjust the seat placements without much difficulty. The key to facilitating these last-minute adjustments was effective communication. Our team was constantly coordinating with one another to make sure these updates were recorded and everyone was in the loop. We are always up for a challenge, so this was an event we very much enjoyed producing.

As a part of the silent auction, Peggy Sparks of Artists’ Proof Art Consultancy set up a gallery for individuals to bid on works of art. This wide variety of contemporary art was created by both local and international visual artists. Artists’ Proof represents highly talented visual artists who provide a realistic portrayal of our modern realities and offer glimpses into a rich and diverse history of artistic exploration. They created an innovative display alongside the traditional silent auction.

Attendees were treated to the musical stylings of DC native and Grammy Nominated artist, Christylez Bacon. He engaged with the crowd to provide him with inspiration for his initial freestyle, and by the end of the performance, the whole room was on its feet. Joining him for his final song was N Street Village’s very own Village Choir.
